I mean what if stars are organisms way more sophisticated than us!?? What if fire is alive!? (And we just don't understand it?) Are we just tiny parasites on Earth's skin? Any comments???

O.K. If physics is teaching us that we have two forms of “existence”-
matter and energy, I think that our non material soul is “fire”.
(We’re generating heat, aren’t we?!-When we die, we get cold…)
So, all the stars are souls, galaxy is one collective conscience, and
Universe is God itself!??!!!

Cool stuff here man check this out many forms of matter or energy breath eat sleep move. people who are reading this right now are probably jokeing about living non living things. the sun may not be are god but in a way its living by eating it self to death think how a car works cars can be considerd living fire eats breaths moves it might be living you don't have to have a brain to live look at trees they eat breath grow but do not have brains jelly fish they don't have brains and the catch there food and eat it so anything that needs more than one resource to live could be in fact cosiderd alive even yogert its culturd to grow.

If "if's" and "but's" were candy and nuts -- we'd all have a merry christmas.

If what you are suggesting were even remotely possible -- who or what created it all? You are marveling in the creation but ignoring the creator -- how can that happen?

Who created these stars? Who created the sun and fire? Where did these parasites come from? Who created the earth?

Who created the orderliness of it all?

The answer is that this creation was made by God -- as we were as well.

To believe anything else is to believe the biggest stretch of all. Do you think this creation and every part of it just evolved?

Smash your watch into little bits and scrape them up and place them in a glass. Throw the parts out on a table -- and then ask yourself, how many times would you have to throw them out on the table before they all fell exactly back into place so that the watch is put back together precisely so it works again.

The truth is that this creation called the universe was made by the creator, the Lord -- Jesus Christ. It is in complete and good order and that can only be done by a creator.

If the Sun is God, then it would follow that each individual star in the universe was a God also. That would mean billions of Gods, of varying sizes and degrees of power. Also, planets are failed stars, so what of them? Are they but the ones that failed to make the cut? And if God could shapeshift, then that would throw uncertainty into the mix.

Would anyone ever think he would not get bored of being a burning fireball for all those years?

That is a good way of pondering, I believe this whole planet is God, The whole universe is. but I'm sure you will get a whole bunch of asinine answers, by fanatics, but keep pondering, without question we will never grow, and isn't that what God wants.

Hey smartkid: try telling that to Plato, or Sacrates. Philosophy helps us gain a better understanding of the world and life, so we can better understand the Current events, I thought someone so SMART would see that.

The SUN is not God because God created it. But I believe that all things have life. After all, God named each star, they sang together in the beginning of creation. The rocks will cry out if praise to God ceased on the Earth. The trees clap their hands in praise to God. All of the elements of the Earth obey God. He sets their limits and they obey. He commands the winds to blow and they blow. The Bible is full of these truths. AND we DONT understand it. We dont recognize it, and we should because we are surrounded by a wonderful, majestic creation, created by our loving Father.

Allah the Almighty says:
{Thus did We show Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he might be of those possessing certainty: When the night grew dark upon him he beheld a star. He said: This is my Lord. But when it set, he said: I love not things that set. And when he saw the moon uprising, he exclaimed: This is my Lord. But when it set, he said: Unless my Lord guide me, I surely shall become one of the folk who are astray. And when he saw the sun uprising, he cried: This is my Lord! This is greater! And when it set he exclaimed: O my people! Lo! I am free from all that ye associate (with Him). Lo! I have turned my face toward Him Who created the heavens and the earth, as one by nature upright, and I am not of the idolaters. His people argued with him. He said: Dispute ye with me concerning Allah when He hath guided me? I fear not at all that which ye set up beside Him unless my Lord willeth aught. My Lord includeth all things in His knowledge. Will ye not then remember?}-the holy quran-

Great question is my first comment!!

Why not, it is only the later monotheist cultures that believe it is not.

The ancient cultures to a man celebrated the sum and earth as gods, and it is not outside of our own existential understanding to see that they were correct on some levels.

I have always liked these kind of theories to be honest!

now, from this term: "god," i'm not sure what you mean. are you referring to the christian god? or the muslim god? or any other god out there?

there are various forms...but, yes. i do agree with you that there are organisms out there that are far more sophisticated than humans...but i guess we like to believe that we are immortal, which is probably why we are all going to rot in a fire storm someday...
