actually I need it sent to me. I am asking her how big. They say 1 gb on their thing but megaupload.com is 250 mb, yousendit is 100 mb and sendspace is 300 mb. Any1?

It'll take forever to download that thing unless you have really fast internet (i have fiberoptics.... so its not too bad).... the thing that comes to mind is a FTP site (file transfer protocol). Just search google for a free ftp site.... also if you set up a vpn (virtual private network)... you can transfer the file over that.

If you can split the file into smaller segments then send all segments eg 4x 250mbs or send as a spanned file which sends file as segments,it will still take a very long time to down load the file you would be better streaming it from them to you by a p2p file share that way you download from thier computer to yours
