it should cost the same across the country as it is part goverment. I work for the P.O. in Los Altos and have one. I pay $48.00 a year for mine. Keep in mind that they offer different sizes. check www.usps.gov and look for PO boxes. it depends on the city and the size so I'm not exactly sure but it would probably be around $8 per month.

every price is different, try going to the local post office where you would like your box to be, and ask them.
