But actually you get your five back when you choose a best answer (because the voters didn't choose 'no best answer') so in theory you'll get eight points when you choose. If the other people choose the best answer you don't get back your 5.

best to give a best answer -when you can!
and even rating someone else's best answer gives that person another point!
Don't really know what I'll do with my points but maybe I can trade them in for a new car someday! (LOL)
