it depends on HOW they were done to begin with.

The "Stock bolt and replace kits" just require you to remove what was done, and put the new (old ones) back in place - this does NOT include any wiring that was done - (never done a Civic so do not know how that kit works / this types of kits are rare) - look for welding, or plates welded on, and things of that nature / if you see them then you will NOT fix it by putting on old stuff from a junk-yard somewhere.

The other kits require cutting, welding, bracing and re-wiring // MOST of these types of changes are not easily reversible as you cut out old bracing and put in new bracing to support the door / hinges and striker plates // this is the more "common" - "kit"...

all in all, take it to a local custom body shop and see what they say on reversing it - without seeing it, it is hard to tell you what needs to be done - so you can get an estimate on the costs involved
(IF it is the second kit, the car is worth less than the work in most cases I think 3K is a cheap price for reversing that work FYI)

It costs more to put it back to stock than it does to modify, depending on the kit you used. If there was a lot of fabrication done, you are pretty much stuck with it.
