Even after losing your mucus plug you could have a couple of weeks before actual labor starts. Obviously your scheduled for a c-section for a reason, you may want to call your doctor if you start feeling any contractions.

Depends I am not your doctor so I do not know how they will handle the situation.
I lost my mucus plug at 34 weeks and did not deliver until 39 weeks. But I was not having a c-section.

properly from my experience with 3 pregnancies, the physician defined to me that the mucus plug ought to pass days even a week earlier the child comes out, whether it truly is the beginning up of the child waiting to make its way, and you being at 40-one weeks identity say it could be some thing to touch the physician over, esp in case you initiate bleeding a mushy circulate or have any contractions or discomfort in any respect, good success with the Little properly, and Praying for you an hassle-free hard artwork and the main suitable along with your New infant Congrats!!!

Labour will most likely start on it's own within the next week or two, but it could be as long as three full weeks.
If your water broke, then you would have to go to the hospital right away -- even if labour does not start. You have 24 hours to give birth after the membranes are ruptured, otherwise the baby is at risk of catching some infections.

Probably they will stick to the date unless you go into labor. That mucous plug can come out weeks ahead of a normal delivery.

not unless your water breaks or you start labor. A mucus plug can come out long before labor starts and delivery is imminent. Call your OB

Probably not yet. It can be a few hours or a few weeks after you lose the plug until labor starts.

That's up to your doctor. You should call him/her and tell them your mucus plug came out.
