Some of the questions can be easily answered by doing some quick research, why ask some of the most dullest and "obvious" questions?

Simply cause people like to know ,what others think about it.Its like reasserting faith in one's beliefs.When people ask questions,what they really want to know is whether their opinion of the question is the same as others or how others feel about it from different perspectives.Its like lot of things are identical but we can classify them in various headers from one's own point of view.

because people are helpful or trying to be. not everybody is super smart. like me for example I might answer a questions like why cordless phones cordless and after i ansewer there question i fell like i help at least a little in there day and sometimes I ansewer a hard one just if i know the answer or come up with my own I LIKE TRIVA.

Probably for the same reasons that people ask the same questions over and over (i.e. How do I get a girl/guy to like me?) or post non-questions (i.e. This/that celebrity is stupid....).

some reasons:
1.they r just lazy
2.they have plenty of time(some of which they could lend to me)
3.They r stupid.
