Only if I was on a deserted island and then I could manage...I wouldn't be able to get a signal...lol
To answer your question, someone in my profession it would be extremely difficult, but if for some reason the government decided to outlaw and ban cell phones I could manage.

Some people say what did you do before cell phones? True, but the option is now there; and the convenience of it all sure out weighs the drawbacks. MAJOR DRAWBACK: CALL A COMPANY GET PUT ON HOLD AND WATCH THOSE MINUTES RUN UP.

I do live without a cell phone. On two seperate occasions I had one and just couldn't stand the damn things. I think they are a modern scourge! If any of my friends want me, they know to call my house. if I'm not home, they leave a message. I get to people on my terms no theirs.

I know I can. It's just an extra thing I need to lug around. 90% of the time, I don't even have the thing on or the battery's not working.
I'm not not very dependent on it and do not care a toot's blow if my friends are 2 blocks away from or in mid-Town. I mean, we agreed to meet at 8:05pm and they never arrive on time anyway. Why tell me something I already know?

Not a chance. I can't go anywhere without getting a call or text from a friend or family member.
