We used Craig's List and had great results. Be warned though that some people use Craig's List to get food, IE kittens, for their other pets, like snakes and whatnot.

We made sure that the people who adopted our kittens were not going to do that. We met the people at their houses to do so.

This is just a warning. I think Craig's List also has the same warning.

You can put an ad in the paper. Check to see if you have a local trader type paper that will place the ad for free. Make sure you say -To Good Homes Only! List their qualities, litter trained, used to dogs, small children. BUT BE CAREFUL. If someone says they'll take both kittens, make sure they are not in the business of selling for testing. There's creeps out there that receive $25.00 plus for cats and dogs to labs! Also, if you have a black kitten, hold back till after Halloween. Satan worshipers use them in a horrible way on that day. And they will drive for hundreds of miles to get one. I have two solid black kittens, 6 wks old. I'm waiting till Nov. Good Luck!

Put up flyers, contact a couple of your local vets, talk to anyone and everyone. Advertise in the local papers, contact a local geriactric care center they sometimes want/need pets for thier residents. Dont give up!! And thank you for not taking them to a shelter.

Do you mean that you do not want a purebred, or that there are no purebreds in shelters? I'm not sure about cats, but about 1 in every 4 dogs in shelters are purebred.
