hitting is never an accident. If you really want her back then get yourself some very serious counseling and help right away! And if you are a very very very lucky guy, then maybe she will want to be friends with you some time in your life. She has every right to never want to see you again. Imagine this....what if it were your mother or sister or daughter that was bleeding from the nose because her man hit her during a fight? What would you tell her to do? Stick around? I think not!

Ok, you should be afraid of going to jail and if you hit her you don't really love her. You don't even like yourself so love comes after like. Get it, it is a process. Never hit. You don't hit. Do not hit. Walk away just keep walking. I don't blame her for not wanting to see you again. Because next time, and there will be a next time. You won't stop with just one hit. And it will be an accident and you will be sorry and you both will cry and you will promise not to do it again until next time. Get some help worry about getting you some help before you wind up in jail for accidently killing her.

How is getting mad and hitting someone an accident? You need to show her that you are getting help by taking anger management course so you are never in this situation again.

Go to her, tell her you are sorry and that you will never ever touch her when you are angry again. It is completely unacceptable to ever hit another human being when you are angry or anytime for that matter. You could be arrested for battery to the other person. If you are 100% positive that you can control yourself then hopefully this incident will keep you from ever doing that again. If you are not 100% positive that this could possibly happen again then you should consider going to anger management classes.

No, it wasn't an accident. If you can't argue with someone without becoming physical, you aren't ready to have a relationship. If you loved her, you wouldn't have caused her harm.
Leave her alone. If she wants to see you again (which I think is a bad idea), then she'll call you. Otherwise, learn how to communicate without becoming physical and take this as a lesson learned. You'll be lucky if she doesn't call the cops on you, because I would.

Your girlfriend is doing the right thing for herself. She does not want to get caught up in one of those abusive relationships. Once a guy hits a girl, it's likely that it will happen again. I know you really love her, & don't think it will ever happen again, but you have to let her go, girls don't want to be afraid of getting hit, & you've already crossed that boundary buddy. You need to get your anger undercontrol. You're lucky she didn't go to the cops and press charges against you.

You won't like the answer, but it will help you not only keep her, but insure it will not happen again. If you truly love her and will do anything to keep her you need to seek some counseling. It won't have to go on forever, and she should probably attend with you at some point. It's the only way, dude. Accident or not, it's the only way.

I don't believe that it was an accident. I was married to a man that always told me after he hit me that it was an accident, that he loved me, that he couldn't bear to loose me. And, then after some time, he would get made and he would hit me again. He needed help. I finally wised up and left him.

You said you got mad and hit her............... doesn't sound like an accident to me. I suggest you seek some counseling. There are other ways to get rid of anger, other than hitting people. Shame on you!!!! Grow up, and be a man.
