Is there a convenience store or grocorey store close to the Las Vegas strip?

One that's a reasonable value, and not one of the over priced gift shop stores.

Thanks

I'm staying at the Imperial Palace so that's in the middle of the strip.

One close to there?

There is a big CVS Pharmacy on the strip next to the Monte Carlo hotel and right across the street from that is a Walgenes. If you want regular shopping, take the bus on the strip just past the airport to the outlet mall. Or, take the bus or a taxi down to Freemont Street. It has a lot of souvenier shops. Also, at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara is the biggest gift shop in Vegas. Its a ways to walk, just north of the Circus Circus.

There is a wal-mart there a little ways down from the strip I am pretty sure you just turn down the road by the MGM Grand and follow that street down and it should lead you there the address is 4350 N Nellis Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89115 just type it in to yahoo maps and it will show you a map :) good luck!

One side of the strip has a CVS and the other side has a Walgreens. Not too far of a walk. These are great options if you want to buy sodas or snacks to keep in your hotel room. I don't know if you smoke or not, but if you do you are much better off buying cigarettes in one of these stores rather than from the casino. Have fun!

We bought some reasonably priced beer at the shop near to Dennys on the strip. There are quite a few if remeber rightly but you will be lucky to avoid the cheesy gifts!

I know of one on Tropicana, west of the Strip. Too far for your needs. Try on Flamingo though...
