Well, one of my neighbors hanged himself today... he was a teen of 16. I know his family and all but I'm not really closed to them. I would like to help them in a way, but i don't know how. What would you do in a similar situation?

GIVE THEM SUPPORT, ROOM TO MOURN, AND FOOD. RUN ERRANDS OR PICK UP GROCERYS.
I HAVE LOST ALOT OF PEOPLE TO SUICIDE, IT IS VERY TRAGIC. MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY.

Bring over a casserole or other easy-to-warm-up dish of food. Express your sympathy and concern, but do not ask questions. Offer to help in any way you can (mow their lawn? pick up some groceries? etc.)
Don't be hurt if they really just want to be left alone right now. Different people handle greif differently. This is the hardest type of death to accept and come to grips with - and while the gentle kindness of a stranger will be appreciated, nosiness or over-aggressive kindness may make things worse.

I would tell them how sorry you are for the loss and tell them that the teens memory will be alive within you and ask if there is anything you could for them in the time of need, do or say what you wud want in the same situation, show them compassion and just listen if need be

I think I would start getting close 2 them
help them be close 2 that teenager

I would send them a card with a handwritten note offering help. Even if they don't take you up on it, it's a thoughtful gesture.

I would definately cook. Plus if there were other children I would offer to watch them.
