my braxton hicks felt more like everything squeezing rather than period pains but I did get period like cramp most of the way through my pregnancy.
If you are unsure just give you midwife a ring to set your mind at rest
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy & relax while you can x

I'd be surprised if you were getting braxton hicks so early, I experienced the same kind of pains during both my pregnancies and I think it is just the baby adjusting itself. Your body has to expand and adjust to the baby and I put the pains down to this. Although if it does become very regular please seek medical advice from your midwife/doctor.
Good luck with your pregnancy. xx

No braxton hicks dont feel like period pain, they feel tight around your tummy. Your uterus is proberbly stretching causing you this pain, if in doubt call your mw. Congratulations im 24 weeks :-)

it could be braxton hicks or it could be your uterus stretching as i had these cramps throughout the whole of my last pregnancy and the doc said thats what it could of been. if you are really worried get it checked better to be safe and put your mind at ease. good luck

just to be on the safe side, i would not chance guessing. i would call the doctor right away. i think you would be best off getting a professionals opion. when it comes to the well being of you and your un-born child you can never be to cautious. so i personally on something of that nature, not guess i would want actual facts.

It is probably nothing serious but, if in doubt, you should tell your midwife. Pains are not uncommon during pregnancy but I think your midwife will gladly clarify this doubt for you.

Could be. Your uterus is expanding now quite a bit and you will experience different sensations as your pregnancy progresses. Congratulations.
