I do that too! I fidget with my hands in general, and that may be a small excuse I use to smoke, keeps my hand busy....

I have to have something to play with in my hand like a eraser. A woman once told me that it's a show of my intelligence. Some how I think thats bull and it's just a nervous habit.

I have quite a few nervous habits. I like to bite my nails, chew the ends of my hair(I know, gross), chew on pens/pencils, scratch my neck, pace, or wring my hands sometimes.

I suffer from gift anxiety. I go to buy a present for someone and I get the crazy andgel and devil thing going on my shoulders and one says it's a great gift, but the other one keeps calling me stupid and saying it hates it. I eventually get a head twitch going and put the gift down and leave the store in a panic. I'm crazy, I know.

Usually when nervous, I just crack jokes of some kind. But I have been known to have kind of a cheek twitch at times too.

I don't have a nervous HABIT, but sometimes when I feel nervous I sing in my head to make me feel better

I have a few, but I bite my nails too. I hate it, just when I get them growing out. I also fidget a lot when I am nervous.
