The beat is the marked time (like on a metronome), the rhythm is the measured pattern of the beat, and the melody is agreeably sounding arranged phrasing.

If they are the questions, your daughter's teacher needs to learn how to spell rhythm!
A beat is the part of the music that represents its time signature, the rhythm relates to the speed and rate of repetition within the music although is hard to define (for me anyway), and the melody is the basic tune that repeats throughout the piece of music.
Learning however is done best when the person finds facts out for themselves, and just copying the answer from somebody else from an answers website probably means that the answers will have disappeared from memory by exam time...

A beat is a kind of wryly used solely to indicate a moment's silence, a short pause.
Rhythm In the widest sense, a dividing into short portions by a regular succession of motions, impulses, sounds, accents, etc., producing an agreeable effect, as in music poetry, the dance, or the like.
Movement in musical time, with periodical recurrence of accent; the measured beat or pulse which marks the character and expression of the music; symmetry of movement and accent.
A division of lines into short portions by a regular succession of arses and theses, or percussions and remissions of voice on words or syllables.
The harmonious flow of vocal sounds.
Melody is the linear aspect of music, in contrast to harmony, the chordal aspect, which results from the simultaneous sounding of tones
