She emancipated herself when she left her moms house. Now she has come to live with her dad. Her address on her permit is her mothers. She wants to go away to school next year. I'm thinking that we should put in for child support now since she attends college full time and we are paying for it. Her mother refuses to pay anything. What to do?

if the child was legally emancipated by a court of law,, tough,, the mother is in no way shape or form obligated to pay anything,

emancipation means the child has demonstrated to the courts they can take care of themselves

A child cannot "emancipate herself". An emancipation can only be granted by a judge at court, and in order for that to happen, the child would have to prove that she is living completely independently. Paying all her own bills, not living with any friends or family members, standing totally on her own feet financially. So it's impossible that this happened in the case you're describing. You need to check your facts.

have the address changed

did the court order child support?

it depends on how long ago all this happened - and if her mother doesn't want to pay for any of it- i think you should consider not asking for any money-unless the daughter still gets along with the mother --

if she is legally emancipated, you cannot get child support. nor are you responsible for her expenses for school or anything else
