It's only the beginning of the NHL season, so it's not really clear who's going to finish where. All stats as of October 9th.

Eastern Conference:
1. Buffalo 6pts.
2. NYR 4pts.

5. Philly, Carolina 1pt

Western Conference:
1. Min, Van, Col, Dal, SJ, Ana 4pts

If you're talking international hockey:
1. Sweden
2. Czech
3. Canada
4. Finland

I think the Wild will be better than 5th. I agree with San Jose being 4th. I think the Wild will be contenders this year.

Overall West I say: San Jose 4th Colorado 5th
East: Tampa Bay 4th Atlanta 5th

For which conference? In the East it's Montreal & Toronto, in the West it's San Jose & Anaheim.
