Chandra has twice as much money as Nora has. Nora has $6 less than Lian. Together they have $54. If m represents the amount of money Lian has, which of the following equations can be used to determine how much money each woman has?

money with Lian = m
money with Nora = (m-6)
money with Chandra = 2 (m-6)
total money = m+(m-6)+2(m-6)=54

The answer is B

Lian has m
Nora has (m-6)
Chandra has 2 (m-6)

total= m+(m-6)+2(m-6)=54
=> 4m-18 = 54
=>4m=72
=>m=18

So,
Lian has $18
Nora has $12
Chandra has $24
