Looks like Telly did record an album in 1974 - first link, and not much info, although few comments refer to the song "If", which was written by the super talented songwriter David Gates of the group Bread, who recorded the song as an original in 1971 - 2nd link...lyrics in 3rd link...

Don't know where you can find the words but the song is called If. Des lynham also recorded a version. The song is practically spoken and not sung.

There are lyric sites online to check out. Assuming you haven't, try www.lyrics.com. I have found many things there. If that doesn't work, simply do a search for the word, lyrics. You shouldn't have too much trouble.
