You need to close your browser and shut-down. Then I recommend Ad-ware removal and a virus scan.

You have some adware. Clean it up completely:
This is more effective in safe mode (F8 during the boot, pick safe mode with networking)
Go to Start>Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and Uninstall what you can there. If they won't uninstall, you will get them later.
http://houscall.trendmicro.com
Do the free scan
Download AdAware and SpyBOT (available at http://download.com )
Install, update, scan and remove anything they find.
Update and run your virus scanner http://free.grissoft.com if you need one.
Defrag the drive, reboot in normal mode and rescan to make sure you got it all.
Download and install all Windows updates when you are done. (Internet Explorer > Tools > Windows Updates)

You probably have an adaware program that delivers pre-installed offline adverts updated whenever you are online. Try "Lavasoft Ad Aware SE Personal" or Spybot Search and Destroy (Run both). They both have free versions
Lavasoft Ad Aware SE Personal:

Spybot S&D:

Adware! Naughty naughty. Get a spyware remover. Try Lavasoft's ad-aware. It's the best you can get and it's absolutely free.

You have adware and spyware on your computer. Try downloading ad-aware and/or spybot. They're free and you can find them on www.download.com (just search for them).
