Which disorder would it be if someone is overly paranoid that a group is constituently plotting against them?

paranoid schizophrenia. ??? (only a psychiatrist or psychologist can really make that determination) my aunt was diagnosed with this and she was constantly in fear that people were out to get her. grocery store clerks, her neighbors. she had some crazy stories about being in the CIA and spies breaking into her mom's (my grandma) house. medication is good for people with this.

There are various possibilities, but if the person possesses a specific clearly-delusional paranoid belief, the most likely diagnosis is schizophrenia, paranoid type.

Myself?? I cook alot. I am very paranoid about hygiene when come to prepare food. Everytime when I touch raw meat, I will wash my hand before I touch other thing around the kitchen such as cabinet handle, refrig., plate...etc. I ended up washing my hands 5 to 6 times avg when I cook a meal.

Probably a paranoid schizophrenic, but there's not enough information to make that determination. Schizophrenia normally includes hallucinations as well.

Paranoid is the term, and to that add, someone who needs help by someone who is competent and capable of ascertaining the subtle differences between paranoia and psychic confusion.

whazacko! and maybe a little schizophrenic, they should probably seek some help, I got picked up hitchhiking by a guy like that and it freaked me out
