Even if you don't want to go to college, you have to have a high school diploma to go get a job of some kind. That was true in the good old days when college did matter, but now it is just a matter of experience.

Are you kidding? Most places won't hire you WITHOUT one, and I am talking about hourly, entry level jobs. Even to work at McD's or on an auto assembly line, they need to know you have basic math and english skills.
To have a GOOD job in today's job market, you not only need a high school diploma, you need a BACHELOR'S DEGREE! And it is almost impossible to move into higher levels of management without at LEAST A Master's degree. So get your learn on and go to school!

It is essential just to get a job. Even if it is a GED, you need some type of HS certification. I know having a GED is not a sign of intelligence but it does show you are able to learn. I knew a guy you dropped out of HS and got GED at 17 because he was bored in school. Very smart guy though.
