I would say you're dehydrated. Your body can't make saliva or any other lubricant if it isn't getting the proper hydration. Be sure you are drinking 64 ozs. of water a day. Also, if you are taking sinus or allergy medicine, it can make that problem worse.

I am not sure how old you are, but going through changes in life can make you dry.
There are anti-itch creams out there to help make you comfortable. I have even found the cheapest anti-itch creams work.
Try using soaps with aloe helps as well.
In the books I have says that having sex more often helps with the itching for a period of time. I have found this does work also.
I have more information on the mater if you feel my answers have helped. Feel free to email me anytime. dawnbreaksway2005@yahoo.com

You'll be drier than you will be during your period or like when you're sexually excited, but you are meaning dry enough to be itchy (like if you had a dry spot on your elbow that itched, right?). No, that is NOT normal. You could just need to drink lots of water or there could be another reason like maybe you started taking a medication that dries you out. I dunno... Get yourself to a doctor for some relief!!!!

It's not normal to be terribly dry down there, but talk to your doctor because I am not a doctor.

Avoid harsh or deoderant soaps. Use a body wash or something gentle like Dove. If you're excessively dry, talk to your gyno.
