A tree, because I would have the potential to live for centuries while witnessing changes in the world around me. I would be used for comfort, sustenance, and recreation, which I think would be very meaningful. I just hope I wouldn't be cut up and used as lumber, but I guess that's the risk.

A tree. Trees provide homes for birds and squirrels and other life. Trees provide shade and cooler temperatures below them.
Some Indian tribes called them "the grandfathers."
They live a long time, and little kids don't yank them out of the ground to give to mommy on Mother's Day.
A bush merely acts like a privacy fence, and shade to pussycats.
Trees are big and noble, and take the brunt of the attack of a lightning and wind storm, which must be very thrilling.

A tree. They live for hundreds of years. They give shade so people sit under them and enjoy life. You don't get trimmed as often as a bush and you can't be mowed down like a flower can.

a tree because flowers just get shagged in the face all the time and then die and bushes get cut to ****. the worst it can get as a tree is a dog pissing down your leg. actually i'd rather get shagged in the face loads than stink of piss. so flower it is.

A tree (a sycamore, preferrably, so I could have those twirly seeds that look like propellers), so that I could subtly bend my branches now and then, causing squirrels and cats to plummet to their doom. Also, I'd like to like a long time, and take up almost all available resources for myself. Having said that, at least flowers and bushes don't get mashed up and made into 'The Sun'...

A tree, they have larger surface area on their roots and have more chance of surivival, they also live through all 4 seasons, most flowers die out and the "children" (if thats a easy way to put it) grow, with a tree it is always going to be "ME, ME, ME!"

A tree because they live in Heaven, Earth, and hell all at the same time. They are very wise, and they have the ability to live for thousands of years. Providing of course humans leave them alone.
