That's simple, I'll show you the three ways that I know how to do it.
(1) FIRST, GO TO THE YAHOO! HOME PAGE AND CLICK ON THE BUTTON THAT SAYS " MORE YAHOO! SERVICES" AND YOU GO TO THIS PAGE THAT SAYS "EVERYTHING YAHOO!", SO THEN DON'T LOOK AT ALL THE COLUMNS, JUST LOOK AT THE ONE THAT SAYS "COMMUNICATION" WITH A BIG SMILE NEXT TO IT. WELL, THEN YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO, LOOK AT THE ALL THE COLUMNS AND TRY TO FIND THE WORD AVATARS, AND IF YOU NEED A HINT, IT'S IN THE 1ST COLUMN. THEN ONCE YOU FIND IT, DUH, CLICK ON IT AND THEN YOU GO TO THE LOGIN HOMEPAGE. ONCE YOU LOGIN, YOU CAN CHANGE THE CLOTHES AND EVERYTHING.
(2) GO TO:http://avatars.yahoo.com/index.html AND LOGIN WITH YOUR E-MAIL ACCOUNT'S PASSWORD AND USERNAME, THEN PRESS THE ENTER KEY AND YOU'RE THERE!
(3) FIRST, GO TO THE YAHOO! HOMEPAGE AND LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT. THEN, ON THE SCREEN IT'LL SHOW YOU A PHOTO OF YOUR AVATAR, THEN, JUST CLICK ON IT, SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO CLICK TWICE TO GET TO THE AVATAR PAGE, THEN CHANGE WHATEVER YOU WANT.

First: from the mainpage of yahoo,you will find a search row,write in it:Yahoo! Avatars
Second:You will have search restuls,choose from it:
Express Yourself With Yahoo! Avatars
Third:You have to be using one of these browsers:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher,
Netscape Navigator 7.2,
Mozilla Suite 1.7.6 or higher,
Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3 or higher.
Fourth:Change your Avatar And don't back to me another more time!

u can change the hairstyles by going to appereance and a little bit above the words that say create a new look it says hairstyles and to change the clothes u can go to apparel and a little above create a new look there are signs that say full outfits tops bottoms and plus sizes and u can change their clothes on however u want good look finding it

Go to the same place you created it, and make the changes. There are a lot of things to choose from.

when you go to the homepage in yahoo click mail then click ur avatar nd it should work
