With permission. Often granted, especially when there is good reason, like accepting a job offer.

For a felony offense they probably can relocate to another county as long as the probation officer okay's it in the county you are moving to. Plus you may need to get some paperwork filled out that the two parole offices can share in making the decision. For me it wouldn't be a good ideal for someone to visit or move to another county without permission from their parole officer.

Should we assume you mean country rather than county?

If country, if you have a passport then go, although relocate means a permanent move and I know of no country as stupid as this one that allows some one to show up and stay. The country might want a police record and then you'd have a problem I would expect.

If county, I would assume there would be no reason except you get permission and check in with the local cops I think.

When on probabtion, you have to report to a probation officer, and give that person information about your whereabouts and employment.

If you tell your officer, he can arrange that you be reassigned to a different county probation department.

Your PO should be able to answer this question. Generally you have to have your PO and/or the court's permission to move from one jurisdiction to another.
