Why do people say "fall pregnant" like you fall ill, or something. Thats so bizzar.

Anyway, its normal for your body to do weird things when you're starting the depo shot, or some other shot. It does take a few months for the shot to be effective at preventing pregnancy, and if you just now started taking it you might not be completely protected yet. Usually not until the 3rd or 4th month.

But, like i said, its normal for your body to cramp and bleed off scehdule and to generally act strange when you're starting the shot, or any hormone based birth control.

of course no birth control is 100% effective, but the cramps don't happen much while your pregnant, it's just the birth control affecting your body trying to not get you pregnant.

fall WHEN you're pregnant or GET pregnant? shots might cause the cramps---you really need to ask Dr. or the nurse about this----

GET pregnant, not fall.

You are getting injections, but you're asking us bozos medical advice? Have you asked your DOCTOR?!?!?

YES YOU CAN DEFINITELY BECOME PREGNANT. YOU COULD ALSO BE STARTING YOUR PERIOD. THEN AGAIN, SOMETIMES THE SHOT WILL MAKE YOU HAVE CRAMPS WITH NO PERIOD.
