at 17 weeks it is about the size of a dollar bill. and weighs about the size of a 4 oz baby bottle filled up.

at 17 weeks the baby should be about 6 inches long and about 5 to 6 oz

a dollar bill is 6 inches long and a 4 oz bottle filled up weights about 6 oz. so i hope that helped you get a better pic of what it looks like.

At 16 weeks the fetus is about 6 inches long, so at 17 weeks and 2 days I'd suppose it's about 6 1/2 to 7 inches.

At 17 weeks, the crown-to-rump length of your baby is about 4.4 to 4.8 inches. Fetal weight has doubled in the past 2 weeks to about 3.5 ounces. By this week, your baby is about the size of your hand spread open wide.

(EDITED to add......amazing that the only person who quotes a source for where the figures came from gets a "thumbs down" from others.)

Babycenter gives a slightly larger estimate than the book I referenced.
