you should hire professional drivers to teach you the ways of illegal street racing..then spend all your lifesavings on a tricked-out car, and race. then, bet all your winnings on the one race where you will fly out of bounds on a steep turn and die in the middle of the race

Learn with a reputable company then have some back-up support from, and practice with, your parents. This is the safest and best way to learn both theory and the practical stuff; parents can be helpful testing you on your knowledge of road signs, markings, speed limits etc. and helping you to be observant when they are driving with you, or you with them.
It's great to learn on a Renault Clio! Good luck and safe driving. RJS

Its best to start with an instructor, Because you can pick up bad habits right away from learning with someone how past their test years ago and once learned they are extremely hard to stop.
But once you,ve had a few lessons with an instructor & he thinks you are coming on well then you can have extra lessons with a parent or friend, But dont tell the instructor because he,ll say its a bad idea, for 2 reasons- 1 he,ll say about the bad habit thing & 2- he,s also thinking of the money he,s going to lose.
When i past my test i thought i,d failed right from the start because everything that i did i saw out of the corner of my eye the examiner putting down an X on his sheet of paper.
When my test was over & he told me i,d passed i was amazed!!
I said to him, how had i passed because everytime i did something i saw you write down an X on your paper.
Then he showed me his paper & it was a FOOTBALL COUPON
he had,nt taken a blind bit of notice of my driving ( which on the day was A1 & would,nt have failed ) So you see the driving test is a lottery with an alotted amount of passes & fails GOOD LUCK

Its always to go with a company and have a parent back up the lessons then you will learn the correct way to drive for a test and practice witha parent because it's easy to pick up bad driving habits with a parent as they could of been driving years and got there own driving style. i started with my mum and fortunatly we had a family friend that was a driving instructor but he still went mad at me cause i had picked up on my mum's driving style and was making silly mistakes that a test instructor would pick up on.......Always best to have your own driving style
Parents always get stressy with you aswell it is there car after all and you may be a new driver when u get behind the wheel for the first time.

With a qualified driving instructor. Your parents will have picked up the bad habits as most people do and not only that, they won't know all the road signs as they bring new ones in every year.

with a reputable instructor who has a high pass rate another good idea is to get time behind the seat so even hiring a dual control car from likes of arnold clark so you can make your own decisions under the supervision of a very patient friend or family member

I learnt in a Renault 5!
The more practice the better. Doesn't matter who teaches you so long as they have patience, calmness, reassurance, encouragement, ... and a brandy at the end!
