This question is not about any individual candidate or party. But rather the political climate this year in general. Has it been too negative? Has any candidate anywhere run a positive and clean campaign?

I'm absolutely disgusted by the political races. I haven't seen mud slinging this bad in years and there's more drama than a daytime soap opera. I Haven't heard anyone really talk about the issues all I've heard is what their opponents did or didn't do. We need someone to seriously address the needs and issues of people not dig up dirt on someone else.

This is a very good question, especially during this time. More mudslinging is occurring because those incumbents have more to hide. Instead of talking about issues there's only talks defending ones character or lack of it.

Even with all of that, there are some answers of substance that are being provided. The trick is to see through the mud and try to pick the best candidate.

Turned off with the whole thing? Very much so. I will continue to follow what's happening so I can be as informed as possible.

It's politics as usual out there. Especially during an election season it's always the same. Same mudslinging every time. What I am tired of is the lack of good candidates we have to choose from. This two party monopoly has got to go.

That's funny. You just used positive and campaign in the same sentence. Hilarious

Big time turnoff. I've seen more mud flying than at a pig farm.
