Its called HyperHidrosis. Some possible causes:
*Hyperthyroidism or similar endocrine diseases
* Endocrine treatment for prostatic cancer or other types of malignant disease
* Severe psychiatric disorders
* Obesity
* Menopause
* Nervousness and anxiety can elicit or aggravate sweating, but psychological/psichiatric disturbances are only rarely the cause of the disorder.
* HIV infection can cause "night sweats"
*Low blood sugar
*Infection
*Cancer (sweating at night without an obvious cause)
*Spicy foods (known as "gustatory sweating")
*Drugs, including antipyretics, some antipsychotics, sympathomimetics, caffeine, morphine, alcohol and thyroid hormone
*Withdrawal from alcohol or narcotic pain killers
There are too many possible causes to give suggestions for dealing with it. Go see a doctor, your GP or an endocrinologist would be my suggestions.
