My personal favourites are SRV's 'Texas Flood' (#6 on the first list) and 'Crossroads' by Eric Clapton (#1 on the Live solos list.)
Just for your interest, here's AboutGuitar.com's Top 10 Guitar Solos of All Time:
Led Zeppelin, 'Stairway to Heaven' (#1)
Van Halen, 'Eruption' (#2)
Lynyrd Skynyrd, 'Freebird' (#3)
Pink Floyd 'Comfortably Numb' (#4)
Jimi Hendrix, 'All Along the Watchtower' (#5)
Guns N' Roses, 'November Rain' (#6)
Metallica, 'One' (#7)
The Eagles 'Hotel California' (#8)
Ozzy Osbourne 'Crazy Train' (#9)

The best guitar solo ever is Jimi Hendrix on Axis:Bold as Love, or his warping of the Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock.....absolutely incredible....Honorable mention goes to Tommy Morelo on Like a Stone or Be Yourself.....
