my father trys to run my life and he think that i shouldnt date but me and this guy ive been talking to are talking about getting married some time soon but not to soon and i dont even know how to tell my father were talking

respect the fact and appreciate that ur dad even cares, but the best thing to do is go to your dad with the guy and tell him 2gther,have the guy u r with respect ur dad enough to inform him about the way that he feels about u.but even if he doesnt approve atleast u took the right steps 2 let him know that u respected him for caring and loving u that much.

Would like to know more about you and this guy....How old are you both? If you are over 18 then your father is going to have to accept it. But at the same time, I'm sure he is trying to do what is best for you. Try to look at all your options before you make the jump!

Honey, if you are old enough, you can do whatever your heart tells you. You really shouldn't let your parents ruin your life. You should listen to their opinions and respect them, but not necessarily follow them.
