I am not sure if these qualify as true chick lit, but....
Emily Ever After by Ann Dayton (very funny)
Consider Lily by Ann Dayton (haven't read it yet, but plan too heard it's even better than Emily)
The Sister Circle by Nancy Moser
The Blue Bottle Club by Penelope Stokes
anything by Ann Tatlock
The Day of the Storm by R. Pilcher

Marian Keyes books are entertaining. She has a few stand alone books:
Sushi For Beginners
The Other Side of the Story
and a series featuring the Walsh family (read in this order):
Watermelon
Angels
Rachel's Holiday
Anybody Out There?
If you likes Jane Green's books (I have also read most of them), then you'll love these. I recommend reading the series first!
Sophie Kinsella's 'Shopaholic' series is also great.

If you don't mind reading YA, I've always been fond of the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison. The first of the seven books in the series (so far) is Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging. The books are very funny and enjoyable. British YA lit.

Bridget Jones' books are hysterical, better than the movie.
crime with humor - Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series - they all have a number in the title - One for the Money
Sex and the City writer Candace Bushnell - funny, romantic, sad.
Anything by Nicholas Sparks. - The Notebook, Message in a Bottle.
My Top recommendation to women for the past three years has been Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson. It is an amazing read.

I am reading "my best friend's girl" by Dorothy Koomson. Think it's in the book chart at the moment, one of the more superior chick lit reads by far.
Enjoy

Jennifer Crusie is great. My favorite by her is Bet Me.
Jennifer Weiner is also very good. Little Earthquakes is a great book. Mary Kay Andrews is really, really funny and her books Savannah Blues and Hissy Fit cracked me up!
If you like British writers, Anna Maxted is good and I'm currently reading Elizabeth Buchan, who is very talented.

Try Sophie Kinsella, her shopaholic stories are very funny and an easy read. Also Meg Cabot, she does other stories and not just the princess diaries. Wendy Holden is also another good one.
