why did the germans kill people for hiding pigs?

i just watched the movie EDGES OF THE LORD and i don't understand why the nazis killed the polish for hiding pigs????

Probably cos the pigs had a higher I.Q than the Nazis and they were scared the pigs would out-smart them

I have to say that that's a nasty lie.Nazies didn't kill no people for hiding pigs.And also they didn't have no reason to do that.

Hitler was a corrupt mean......
