I like a liquid eyeliner... don't remember the brand, but it probably isn't sold in the UK. I prefer brown-black instead of just black. I have very dark brown eyes.
Second to the eyeliner, mascara. Not the water proof stuff because I find it to be gunky and too thick.

I like all sorts of brands, but my favorite is Este Lauder eyeliner -- it's very smooth and easy to apply. I also have a powder by Cover Girl that is the age defying powder (comes in a red container) that smooths my face. I have two friends that use only the Bare Minerals and swears by it but I've yet to try.

eyeliner? it has to be black liquid eyeliner from Bourjois..its great, and goes on really smoothly, plus you feel like Audry Hepburn circa 1960s. Purchased from Sephora.
btw, its the one thing on my face at all times.
but if i had to choose my favorites for everything...
Prescriptives Foundation, naturally sheer
MAC concealer for any blemishes
Bourjois (again) double wanded mascara for conditioning
Benefit liquid blush/lip stain
Clinique powder in barely there
chanel lip gloss
i like to look natural but if i am going out, i usually use a combination of the above. plus some MAC eyeshadow..
i also get my eyebrows done regularly so i dont feel like i need too much makeup on for the daytime. it really cleans up your face and makes you look fresh.
dont forget to moisturize and use an eye cream in the AM and PM!

My black Collection 2000 eyeliner and probably my Collection 2000 lip-gloss and my Collection 2000 mascara. Those are what I need. I also love my Nivea Visage Be Beautiful tinted moisturiser it's great!

If I had to have just one make-up product it would be concealer - It takes away imperfections and I swear I look ill without it. I use Mac concealer for spots and Kryolan Ultra foundation (TV/fashion/theatre make-up brand) under my eyes. I think the make-up you need to transform you from "dodgy looking" to "healthy and well" is foundation + concealer (in the right shade) transluscent powder and blusher. Anything more than that is for extra enhancement/decoration.

Ok, so the best part of make up is mascara. It can make of break you and it is so perfect. If you don't wear alot of make up everyday mascara will keep you looking amazing.
I recommend using Loreal's volumizing mascara in the gold tube and Great Mascara from Maybeline (pink and green tube) you don't have to go expensive to get it either that's why I love it!!!! Good luck with your make up!!!

Mascara because if I put some on, I instantly look less tired. My mascara as most of my make up is by Lumene which is a Finnish brand.

Eye Shadow: Estee Lauder pure color eye shadow in pale moon, L'oreal touch-on colour for eyes and cheeks in cashmere rose, flirt eyeshadow in funny honey, and clinique high impact eye shadow in sweet nothing
Lip gloss: revlon liquid lacquer lipgloss in dazzling pink, and Jane Iredale puregloss in mulberry
Plumping Lip Gloss: DuWop lip venom
ChapStick: Burts bees lip balm, blistex lip tone, smith's rosebud salve and chapstick all natural
Moisturzing lips: Vaseline lip therapy in cherry
Lipstick: laura mercier lipstick in ma cherie
Blush: covergirl cheekers in rose silk or Dior blush creme in so cheek!
Highlighter/Shimmer: stila all over shimmer
Concealer: laura mercier secret concealer in 1, or clean & clear concealing trestment stick in light

mascara because even if u dont put any other make up it will make u look pretty coz one sees the eyes first. there r lots of brands each claiming 2 b better than other

maybeline mascara, without it i just look like i walked out of a crypt!!! I have recently discovered the wonders of eyeliner, it can make you look more awake than you really are in an instant.
