Oh! Look! A wild animal in his natural environment! -gets out camera- I wonder if it bites the bubbles when it is taking a bath!! XD

"Eww!" is the first thing that comes to mind. Next is "Why?!" I never could understand the thought process that leads to that behavior. Then I think of all the bacteria and germs they are ingesting, and that they are exposing them to illness unnecessarily, because mucous is meant to trap illness-causing stuff and be expelled.

When I waas a small child, my Mother told me that eating boogers was like eating poo poo, I have never forgotten that.
