i had checked his phone to get his sisters number and had seen that he had called her ... he had been out that late before wayyy past bar time i dont want to be stupid!!!!

So don't. Trust is a big part of relationships. If he hasn't ever given you a reason then don't even go there. You could push him away.

Then dont be stupid. Go with your gut feeling. If you can, look at his past cell phone bills to see how often he calls her. Do more investigation.

If he cannot be truthful to you in everyday life...then can you trust him? Words plus Actions that match equals TRUST!!
Vital in relationship...w/out it--ya got @#!*. Trust takes times to build...you all are still working on it....
