I work for a Sole-Practitioner Attorney and he said yes, because it is not national and the courts are open. Is this true? I thought if is was federal then you should get it off. (The WellsFargo bank downstairs is closed for the holiday) I want to know so I can ask for my double pay!! Thx

My fiance has to work (he works on a farm so works most holidays, except a select few) and his daughters still have to go to school today. It is just another day to us. I think it all depends on the employer and what they want to do.

you're in basic terms a bigoted hatemonger. Now we would desire to continuously do away with the blandness of Presidents Day and comprehend Washington's Birthday. without him? you may have no longer something to hate. So, be grateful to Columbus and Washington. they provide your hatred concentration and purpose. it truly is that in basic terms grand!

I don't get special pay for holidays, so if I don't work, I get no money. Therefore, I work. Most people don't even celebrate or give a second thought about the holiday it is, so why not work?
