My first apt. will be when I am 12 weeks along. They want me in sooner, but I cant afford it. I feel things are going fine.
Anyhow, they said they do not do ultrasounds,at that office. but will scan the baby when I come in. what does this mean?

well they do have another office in the area that they do the major ultrasound she said, but the she said, we'll take a look and scan the baby when you come in??????????/

probably with a doppler to hear the babie heartbeat

They are going to just listen to the heartbeat, they do at every visit. They usually only to one ultrasound unless you have some sort of complications.

They will probably outsource you to another office or the hospital for an ultrasound.
My doc's office also doesnt do ultrasounds, i have to go to the hospital to have them done.
They will probably take blood, listen to the heart beat and take vitals.
