Spray with soapy water for topical control of aphids(grate and dissolve in hot water soap flakes, cool and spray)
Garlic and chili peppers are both potent insect repellents. A mixture of both, liquefied in a blender and mixed with water, can be used as an effective spray for a whole host of pest insects.
Pyrethrum spray. This is an insecticide that has been used effectively to control insects for decades and is non-persistent, decomposing rapidly in the environment. These qualities make it an excellent choice for the control of garden and agricultural pests. The plant used for the production of the insecticide is Tanacetum cinerariaefolium a member of the chrysanthemum plant family. You can make your own if you have a supply of the plant.

Hi,
I have found that a systemic insecticide for houseplants works great.
I have also used a product that is in a liquid solution to be used as a soil drench that is 100% safe for everything, except fungus-gnats and mosquitoes. It's 100% organic because it is the natural occurring bacteria that the gnat and/or mosquito larvae feed on. This is the same bacteria that is used in "mosquito-dunks", which are used in outdoor bird baths and ornamental ponds, etc.
The site where I get mine is offered below.
I have had great success with this type of treatment for all my houseplants.
Professionals use this in greenhouses as a means of natural pest control.
You'll learn more at the site that sells the kind I use.
Hope this helps, Dave

For a natural solution, you can use soapy water sprayed with a sprayer to get rid of bugs. Another product is diatamaceous earth that looks like soil and you sprinkle it around the area.
You can use most any pesticide but hopefully you would look at a natural appraoch to.
You can search for other natural products you can buy but you can use things like soap that you have under the sink and will work just fine.

I really like Shultz Houseplant Insect Killer. It's made from crysanthemum flowers so it's natural and it will kill all stages of most insects and it lasts for about 4 weeks.
If you want something with no poison use Neem Oil, Horticultural Oil, or Insecticidal Soap. You can all of these at you lawn & garden center.

Scale is a stressful client. in case you will get to it quite, you stand a extra suitable risk. Spider flowers, working example, are infamous for having scale and it hides nicely interior the leaves and shoots, being very confusing to get rid of topically.they are armor-plated and that's their maximum suitable secure practices. reckoning on the plant, you may shop the size in examine by basically wiping it down with a textile. Systemic pesticides paintings, yet could be administerd dilligently until eventually no sign of the infestation is present. Small infestations could be dealt with with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and dotted on the size. The immature bugs are harbored on the backside of the pot rims besides, so determine to scrub thoroughly and wipe with alchohol.

I have always used dish soap with water in a spray bottle. It helps them grow but at the same time get rid of the bugs and keeps them gorgeous - my roses are beautiful.

Instead of spending money on costly pest control, you can get rid of insects by removing the food source and using soap water. I found the information at http://www.pests.in useful.
