I never understood why republicans continue to support bush but admit that he lied about Iraq. Similarly democrats supported Clinton no matter what he did. What would it take for you to not support your leader?

Use rubbing alcohol to clean your keyboard. It will not harm the electronics (certainly not more than soda will) as it evaporates too quickly.

The concept of parties is now outdated and most politicians consider their constituency to be their campaign financiers, not the people in their district.

I vote according to the issues and competency of the candidates.

There are a couple of problems here.

There is the societal problem. People are sheep and feel the need to put everything in a mold, and people refuse to listen to any other opinions and even more sadly facts. People don't understand how anyone could possibly disagree with them!

The next is a political problem.
Corrupt republicans will stay in office, and the same for democrats because of the following.
As far as everything with the exception of the presidency, most places that vote are either left leaning or right leaning.
So, if you are in KS, it doesn't matter how crooked the R is, he is still favored over the hated D.
In CA, it doesn't matter how crooked the D, he is still better than the R.

Our political system will suck as long as it is "2 party," and as long as it is difficult or impossible for a person of a party to run against a person of the same party.

Also for the guy that spoke of the WMD's. They do exist, they DID exist, and it has been PROVEN many many times. It is sad that in today's day and age, information is easier to get to then at any other time in history, but people still refuse to look at it. It is equally amazing that in politics, a lie, if repeated over and over somehow becomes the truth. Also, to the guy who stated that, thanks for proving my first point.

Hi

I was raised a straight ticket Republican,..but when I began to vote myself... I really looked at the candidates and
I vote for the best person regardless of his party.

I think lately there has been no real best choice though... Bush was a better choice than Kerry when I voted...
and so on...

Frankly Im tired of it all... We need somebody very different for a change...
I voted for Bush but an unhappy with teh job he has done... but I think given the same circumstances Kerry would have done no better and maybe worse...

Also

When you replace your keyboard... try the memorex TS1000
less t han 20.00 and spill proof
Supposed to hold up to 12 oz of liquid without keyboard damage!
We have one and its seems to work

Are you in AU.. you said its thanksgiving?

Good Luck

No

I am a Democrat who supported the War on Iraq until I realized shortly after the invasion that the amount of troops used was not enough. I was in the first Persian Gulf War and our supply lines were never in jeopardy because we had sufficient troops. Plus, I believed our President when he said Iraq had WMD and linked to Al Quaida.............But now we all know that story.

Stop putting Democrats in a box that we are not in.

No, while a yellow dog democrat there are certain things that I do not support in the democratic party. However most of the things that they do stand for I support and I will work to make things like gun control not a part of the democratic party.

I dont belong to any political party ,but I vote and stand for ...values that transcend partinsanship. Meaning I voted for Clinton then ,his personal life was not a matter to me , what he did and stood up to as president of the nimber one poer , yes! , I voted for Bush , as I agrred on his family , and no same sex marriage debate , althought not on the war that followed , but I cross parties to vote for whom i believe will do best in terms of world affairs , community and the education of our young ! Hugs.

No. I am not a robot. I pick and choose and always split my ticket. However, most of the Repubs look like bad choices to me.
