Details- We are already in Hell. No Question. If you are alive and kicking on this Earth. You are already in Hell. Your Karma has put you here. The only escape is by purification. The cycle of Birth and Death is almost inescapable. When you are in Hell. It never ceases to amaze me that people don't realize that they are already in Hell. They go about their mundane existence, never realizing that are already condemmed. The only recourse for the bad Karma that put you in Hell in the first place is to lead a pure and clean life. You can find this tool in the teachings of the Buddah. He escaped this round robin. He is a light in the sky. An example to follow. That's what a Buddah does. They dive into Hell and take out the souls that they can. A great sacrifice for a soul that must sully themselves in our wickedness. They were unsalvageable at some point but managed to redeem themselves and achieve enlightenment. Follow them. They are the teachers. They have blazed the path.

I appreciate all your answers and am not surprised at the negative responses. I can see that the idea of reincarnation as part of the seemingly endless and undesireable wheel of life and death is not very popular.
We all suffer from maladies like arrogance, pride, lack of humilty and a host of other vices or we wouldn't be here in the first place. Just wanted to point to a way out. When the Buddha was asked if he was God he said that he wasn't, and that the only difference between him and anyone else was that he was awake while we are asleep. Which means that it is possible for all of us to wake up. That's why I say this is Hell. There may be many paths out of here. Who knows, follow yours.

Not.

The bible, a well-documented historical non-fictional account teaches contrary. Read it and see for yourself! Also give The Case for Christ (by Lee Strobel) a try - though I warn you it's intellectual and not an easy one to read or dispute :) Blessings ~Nise~

Interesting question. Hmmm.... you know how they usually picture heaven and hell ?

Heaven is a place where it has a lot of lights. It is quiet and peaceful. Too quiet, maybe. The only sound you hear, is an Angel plays a harp under the tree. Chirping sound of birds and water current on a distant river.

Hell is where the motion is. You've got nice cars, pubs, sexy girls wandering around with mini skirts. You've got all the drinks you want. And you got to see all those centerfolds and movie stars. Pretty much like earth.

Your choice !?

First of all, if you honestly believe that we are in hell right now then you have not opened your eyes to all the beautiful things this world has to offer. Hell does not consist of beauty, joy, peace and love. Hell is about hate, death, torture. I do not believe that this world we live in is "hell." if you choose to believe so then that is your opinion. But to give you another point of view, maybe this is YOUR hell. It never ceases to amaze ME the way that people try to push their own, one-minded beliefs on other people, without even considering the options. I have considered your opinion, but I still disagree.

You must be in hell,to think that you know it all:ever heard that it is a vice to be humble?
You pretty much look like a preacher man.Take care:you are living in your own fabricated living hell.
