Absolutely. If you don't have your PC properly secured (without adequate passwords, or with auto-logon enabled, etc.) all I'd need is access to your computer (even over the internet). It would only take a matter of minutes, if not seconds, to log into your system. After that, I could do whatever I wanted. That's what firewalls/security are designed to prevent. Without it, you're just naked and vulnerable.

It sure is if you don't have a password or proper security settings. My computer picks up about three other networks besides my own.

Not unless they had physical access to your computer. It would be more likly that they would connect thier computer to your wireless network.

this is unlawful and incorrect. in the adventure that your prepared to try this i wish somebody remotely accesses your laptop and it is archives so which you understand the stress and aggravation you would be growing to be for somebody in case you extremely did this.

i dont think so unless they hack into your computer.
or else if they know your computer name or ip address.is in the same workgroup.
