Because I read people using the term 'innocent' baby. I was just wondering if their were guilty babies too...

Not anymore. But there are still a bunch of preveously guilty babys stuck in Limbo by the Catholic Church.

That is ridiculous. The term innocent is used for describing babies because they have not even had a chance to do anything wrong. To bad many "innocent" babies, never even get the chance to make those kinds of decisions.

Innocent implies that the child has not yet had time to commit a sin...thusly, there are no guilty babies because they would need to be charged with a sin. Whereas older foks tend to be less pure, and they could be charged with ignorance and argumentiveness, and boredom.

Great observation! I have always wondered the same about the term "new baby". Are there old babies? I will watch this question to see what type of answers you get!

I thought they were guilty until they were baptized to some. Don't know. Maybe they're innocent until proven guilty.

no b/c you don't really develop guilt until age 7. if the guilt factor is not present at age 7 then you have high chances of becoming a murderer, rapist, etc

oh yes. The ones that result from a woman going into what she thought was an abortion provider, put it turned out to be a fundamentalist abortion "intervention" center. They intervene allright.
