1) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956). A great film by any standard, and all the greater when you consider that the "framing" scenes (the prologue and epilogue) were never intended by Don Siegel, but were required by the studio afer they viewed his original cut.

really i cant remember any others back then, but i really liked this one...........still do..........i think it stills stands up to the ones made today........in its message and all.
