Go to
www.1stserve.com

See if your city is listed

You pay an entry fee and play opponents at your level and you can set up the time and place.

You get benefits like discounts and all sorts of stuff.

Do you play local tournaments? I always found that it was a good place to meet people to train with, some are jerks , but others are not and in time you will have 5 guys to set dates with. If you have a coach that works with other good players maybe even a bit better then you ,put some pressure on your coach to set some games up. Find out where the top junior academy is in you area and join. It may be tough at first , but you will break in. Never say no to anyone when they ask you to play. You do not want to shoot their confidence down. You can always work on things like footwork and placement and your net and serve. You do not have to play sets. When I was in the 24s my mom used to pay some of the top 18 year olds ten dollars to play with me which helped. Good luck.

I am a member of a David Lloyd in Kent and most of us have a right laugh and are a bit erratic so not snobby at all. I played a couple of matches for the club against traditional tennis clubs and hated it, they were very snobbish!!!!

If you are a member of the LTA then you can find out about loads of other tennis players in your area with the same rating as you. As you progress you will gtadually meet new people who you might want to play again.

you don't have to join a hoighty toighty tennis club, most local communities have tennis leagues that you can join and compete against people in your region.

You could find a racquetball court and use that wall, or at some public tennis courts they have walls.
