I do beleive that what goes around comes around but don't you think that sometimes you spend your time being so good to people just to get shat on and all the bastards seem to sail through life!

Trading Standards, consumer advice, small claims court, see if any newspapers or TV programmes like Watchdog are interested in your experience.
Just cause them a headache as much as possible, this is not really vengeful since they deserve to be investigated, fined, get a bad reputation, be exposed as the git they are.
This way your Karma stays intact because you are not being vengeful, just protecting other people from the same experience you have had.
Should you not really care about looking after your conscience or possible repercussions then pay some big bloke to give them a hammering.

You paid for the job BEFORE the work was done???? OUCH!!! I guess if they are a legitimate business with a business license you could complain to the Better Business Bureau in your state. And just be sure that you tell ANYONE & EVERYONE who they are & what they did..... Small claims court may get you your money back or take out an ad in the paper to let people know who these people are & what they did to you......
In the future, NEVER pay for a job UNTIL "YOU" are SURE it was done properly & "YOU" are happy with it......

I artwork with 2 of them born on the comparable day. One is blonde and fat, she is a single mom and extremely youthful and immature. Somedays she comes throughout the door asserting "seem at me i'm so remarkable!" after which different days this is like in case you seem at her incorrect she ignores you for days.... Then the 2d is dark haired and skinny as a rail, yet she flirts with a number of the extra alluring adult men in the place of work and seems down on human beings for having no longer-so-vivid vehicles or common looking hair. she would be extremely caught up.

I would ask them to come again for another job and have the police there when they came. there is a "lemon law" that applies to private contractors, you got ripped off, make them pay
