If you are unsure of the laws of where you live you should deffinatly read up on them.It is very important to know these things. I guess if you have done something you are unsure of and it was illegal the police will hunt you down eventually.Go to google and look up your state, city, county so you can see what the laws are.If you do something illegal using the excuse that you didn't know it was illegal they will look at you like you are retarded, get educated please...

Easy answer is, if your gut tells you something is wrong, chances are its illegal. Or you could do like I do, when I am thinking of relocating, I check out the local and state laws to see how they differ from what I am used to. Or, you can always ask a lawyer. You may receive a freebie, but if you are the type to ask many questions, you may have to retain them.

Know the law. How to know the law?
1. Ask the person on authority.
2. Research is open and quick in the internet now.
3. Always remember, familiarity breeds contempt. So dont pretend you know it, even you dont.

If you're going to do something you even think might be illegal, check it out by calling your city manager, or a court clerk or the police department.

Easy. To check that out near a Police Station. If it turns out to be illegal one can land up in their hands smoothly before the public encashes on him!
