I was told the darker the color the more dominent the gene. But I also know a couple where the husband is brown hair and brown eyes and the mother is blonde hair and green eyes and the daughter has blue and has since birth. She is 9 now! So, ya never know what Nature will have in store for you.

There is no way to tell what you or your husbands recessive gene is for eye color so there is a 1 in four chance that they will be something other than brown. However brown is dominant so you would both need the recessive gene for the same variation of color to get that color is it may be 100% brown eyes. But there is a possibility there is a recessive gene for green on your gene and his so then that would make it 1 in 4 chance.

probably brown. everyone from your side has the brown eye gene. that's what you will pass to your baby and brown is dominant so even if your husband passes green or something (which is actually a genetic mutation over the years, i've heard) your child will most likely have brown. Now, if he passes a recessive trait to your child and your child marries someone with, say a recessive blue eye gene, your grandchild could end up with blue or green eyes.

More then likely they will be brown. When the baby is first born don't be suprised to see blue eyes that is pretty common in new babies they tend to change by the time they are almost a year. Unless they are staying blue. But you never know for sure till the baby reaches a year to what the color is going to be. My daughter had blue eyes like her daddies till almost a year and now they are hazel like mine.

They'll be brown. If the parent's eyes are both brown/light brown then you're child will have brown eyes. Brown is always the dominant one.

The odds are in favour of brown eyes. But you never know! My family goes:
Mom's parents: brown and blue
Mom's: brown
Dad's parent's: brown and brown
Dad's: brown
I have blue eyes! So there is a chance!
